Your RAID array has degraded, your NAS shows a red light or multiple drives have failed simultaneously?
RAID and NAS systems store critical business data. When they fail, every hour of downtime costs money. A wrong decision — such as attempting a rebuild on a degraded array — can turn a recoverable situation into permanent data loss.
At RecuperaTusDatos we are specialists in RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and NAS recovery. We handle the most complex multi-drive failures and have experience with all major NAS brands and file systems.
Free diagnosis in 4 hours. No recovery, no fee. Emergency 24h service available.
Professional RAID and NAS data recovery service. We work with all RAID configurations (0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60) and NAS brands (Synology, QNAP, WD, Buffalo, Netgear, Drobo). File systems: ext4, Btrfs, XFS, ZFS, NTFS. Hardware and software RAID. ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified. Over 12 years of experience. No recovery, no fee.

RAID Configurations We Recover
RAID 0 (Striping)
Data is split across disks with no redundancy. If any single drive fails, all data is lost. Recovery requires imaging all drives and reconstructing the stripe pattern. We can often recover data even with one failed drive.
RAID 1 (Mirroring)
Data is duplicated across two or more drives. If one drive fails, the other should contain a complete copy. However, controller failures, accidental rebuilds or simultaneous drive failures can cause data loss. High success rate.
RAID 5 (Striping + Parity)
The most common configuration for businesses. Tolerates one drive failure. When a second drive fails during rebuild (very common with large drives), all data becomes inaccessible. We reconstruct the array using parity data and partial drive images.
RAID 6 (Double Parity)
Tolerates two simultaneous drive failures. More resilient than RAID 5 but still vulnerable to three or more drive failures, controller problems or corruption. We handle even the most complex multi-failure scenarios.
RAID 10 (Mirror + Stripe)
Combines mirroring and striping for both performance and redundancy. Fails when both drives in a mirror pair are lost. Recovery is possible in most cases by reconstructing the stripe from surviving mirrors.

Emergency Protocol for Businesses
RAID / NAS Failure? Follow These Steps Immediately:
- Do NOT attempt a rebuild if more than one drive has failed or shows errors. Rebuilds stress the remaining drives and can cause additional failures.
- Do NOT replace failed drives and start a rebuild without professional guidance. The rebuild process can overwrite recoverable data.
- Power off the NAS/server cleanly if possible. If it's already off, leave it off.
- Label each drive with its bay position (Bay 1, Bay 2, etc.) before removing them.
- Contact us immediately — call 900 899 002 or WhatsApp for emergency triage.
Our emergency 24–48 hour service is designed for businesses that cannot afford extended downtime. We prioritise your case, assign a dedicated engineer and work around the clock until your data is recovered. Emergency courier pickup is available across Spain.
Frequently Asked Questions — RAID & NAS Recovery
My RAID 5 has two failed drives. Can you recover the data?
Yes, in most cases. RAID 5 with two failed drives is one of the most common scenarios we handle. We image each drive individually (including partially failed drives using specialised hardware) and then reconstruct the array using parity data. Success rate is typically 70–85% depending on the extent of damage to the failed drives.
Do I need to send the entire NAS or just the drives?
In most cases, we only need the drives themselves (labelled with their bay positions). However, for NAS devices with proprietary RAID configurations (such as Drobo BeyondRAID or Synology SHR), sending the NAS unit can help us determine the exact configuration. We will advise you during the initial consultation.
How much does RAID/NAS recovery cost?
Prices start from 890 EUR + VAT for simple configurations (RAID 1, logical NAS failures). Complex multi-drive RAID 5/6 recoveries with physical drive failures range from 890–3,000 EUR + VAT depending on the number of drives, RAID level and severity. Emergency service carries a surcharge. Diagnosis is always free.
Can you recover data from an encrypted NAS volume?
If you have the encryption key or password, yes. Most NAS devices (Synology, QNAP) use LUKS or eCryptfs encryption. We can decrypt the volume using your key and recover the data. Without the encryption key, recovery of encrypted data is not possible, even in a professional laboratory.
